  • ALL AMERICAN SELECTIONS AWARD FOR HEM GENETICS

    All America Selections have announced in February the winners of the 2010 AAS Awards. One of the three All American Selection Awards was granted to a new dwarf double flowered type of Snapdragon (Antirrhinum). “Antirrhinum F1 dwarf double flowered Twinny peach” was bred by Hem Genetics. The other two awards were granted to Gaillardia F1 Mesa yellow and Zinnia Zahara starlight rose, bred by Pan American Seed. An AAS award is granted to a new ornamental and vegetable variety with significant improved characteristics or is superior to other existing varieties.
